Description

• Perform comprehensive evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics through validated assessments and keen observational skills.
• Craft tailored treatment plans aimed at addressing immediate and enduring speech, cognitive, or swallowing objectives.
• Deliver focused, personalized speech therapy sessions with an emphasis on language, voice, fluency, and swallowing function.
• Engage as a collaborative partner with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families in orchestrating cohesive care strategies.
• Educate patients and families to empower them in continuing progress beyond clinical encounters.
• Conduct occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless care throughout the process.
• Keep meticulous, timely documentation in line with state, federal, and organizational protocols.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through education and collaboration with peers.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Fulfillment of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), if ASHA certification has not yet been obtained.

Certifications

• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• ASHA's Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
