We are committed to empowering young people to build resilience, achieve stability, and thrive. We are currently seeking a meticulous and dedicated Payroll Specialist to join our team. This Full‑Time role, based in Dallas, Texas, United States , is essential to our operations, ensuring that our valued staff are compensated accurately and on time. The ideal candidate will be a detail‑oriented professional who is passionate about supporting the vital work of our organisation. Key Responsibilities Manage and process end‑to‑end payroll for all employees in an accurate and timely manner. Maintain payroll records by meticulously collecting, calculating, and entering data. Update payroll systems with new hire information, pay adjustments, and terminations. Address and resolve any payroll discrepancies and respond to employee queries regarding their pay. Ensure strict compliance with all applicable US federal, state, and local payroll and tax regulations. Prepare and submit detailed payroll reports on earnings, taxes, deductions, and leave. Liaise effectively with the Human Resources and Finance departments to ensure seamless and integrated processes. Assist with audits by providing relevant records and documentation. Qualifications and Experience Proven experience working as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar payroll‑focused role. A strong understanding of US payroll principles, laws, and best practices. High proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Exceptional numerical accuracy and a keen eye for detail. Excellent organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to meet strict deadlines. The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Experience within a non‑profit or human services organisation is desirable but not essential.
