CGP: Sr Accountant

Senior Accountant – Orange County, CA – Contract to Hire. Pay: $45–$50 per hour. Closing date: 06/16/2026. Job Responsibilities: Support month end and year end close activities by preparing journal entries and assisting with financial reporting. Perform account reconciliations and analyze balances to ensure accuracy and completeness. Assist with the preparation of financial statements and related reports for internal and external use. Support audit processes by providing documentation and responding to requests. Collaborate with accounting teams to improve processes and resolve reporting issues. Requirements: A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Experience within large organizations or publicly traded environments. Demonstrated understanding of general ledger accounting and financial reporting processes. Basic knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements and accounting standards. Effective communication skills and the ability to manage tasks in a structured, deadline-driven environment. Qualifications: Exposure to regulatory filings and support for external reporting processes. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills when reviewing financial data. Ability to work collaboratively across teams while supporting multiple priorities. Proactive approach to learning and professional development.
