Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - Manassas, VA We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team at Galaxy ABA Therapy in Manassas, Virginia! As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will play a vital role in helping children with developmental disabilities build meaningful skills and reduce challenging behaviors through evidence-based, play-based ABA therapy. About the Role: As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will work one-on-one with children in home, school, or community settings, implementing skill-building and behavior-reduction plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will use play-based, child-led approaches to make therapy fun and engaging, collect data on client progress, and complete session documentation. You will also collaborate with supervisors, parents, and team members to maintain a safe, supportive, and professional environment. Responsibilities: Work one-on-one with children in home, school, or community settings Implement skill-building and behavior-reduction plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Use play-based, child-led approaches to make therapy fun and engaging Collect data on client progress and complete session documentation Collaborate with supervisors, parents, and team members Maintain a safe, supportive, and professional environment Requirements: High school diploma (required); Associate's or Bachelor's in Psychology, Education, or related field (preferred) Completion of 40-hour RBT training (or willingness to complete within the first six months of employment) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Physical ability to engage in active play, lift up to 40 lbs, and ensure client safety Ability to pass background checks (FBI, CPS, State of VA) and provide CPR, HIPAA, and TB clearance (support provided) Prior ABA, childcare, or behavioral health experience is a plus—but training is provided for the right candidate What We Offer: Opportunities for advancement Paid sick time Paid training Flexible weekday schedules, with some weekend options Work that makes a lasting impact on children and families Supportive team environment with training and mentorship #J-18808-Ljbffr Galaxy ABA Therapy
