Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a School Psychologist or Psychometrist, supporting K-12 students in the Mobile, AL area for the 2026-2027 school year. Work on-site, engaging directly with students and staff across one or more campuses, and help address educational and behavioral needs through assessment, intervention, and collaboration with education professionals.

Key Qualifications:

• Current, active Alabama School Psychologist license or School Psychometrist educator certification (must be eligible for immediate school-based employment)
• Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred
• Strong assessment, consultation, and communication skills
• Ability to provide comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations
• Flexibility to travel between assigned schools as needs require
• Must provide images of relevant licenses at the time of application

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational and behavioral assessments for students referred for services
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop education and intervention plans
• Support schools with consultation on a wide range of student mental health and learning concerns
• Collaborate with educators, families, and administrators to foster positive educational outcomes
• Document evaluations and maintain compliance with district and state regulations
• Serve students in grades K-12 based on district testing needs; may work at multiple campuses

Position Details:

• Full-time; 40 hours per week starting October 1, 2026, through May 26, 2027
• Located on-site; this is not a remote or teletherapy position
• Potential to renew for Extended School Year or the following academic year based on performance
• Interviewing candidates beginning August 26, 2026 (no interviews August 31 – September 4; then ongoing)
