Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Shipping and Receiving Clerk to support warehouse and inventory operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for receiving incoming materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, preparing shipments, and ensuring materials are properly stocked and distributed throughout the facility.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, warehouse experience, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Unpack and inspect incoming shipments against purchase orders and invoices
• Maintain accurate records of received and shipped merchandise
• Reject and report damaged or incorrect materials
• Examine, stock, and distribute materials within inventory and production areas
• Prepare kitting packages as needed
• Complete put-away functions for received goods
• Apply CPD labeling according to customer requirements
• Assist with inventory organization and material movement
• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts when required
• Follow safety procedures and warehouse processes at all times

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of shipping, receiving, warehouse, or related experience required
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to regularly lift, push, and move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• High school diploma or GED required

Work Environment

• Fast-paced warehouse and manufacturing environment
• Frequent lifting, standing, and material handling throughout the shift
• May involve operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment
