Shipping/receiving clerk

Are you a proactive problem-solver with a sharp eye for detail and a knack for seamless organization? We are looking for a dedicated Operations Specialist to drive our day-to-day warehouse, shipping, and inventory management. In this role, you will be the backbone of our client's supply chain-managing order flow, optimizing stockroom storage, and coordinating key logistics to keep the business running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Receive, log, and process incoming deliveries, ensuring accurate internal distribution of mail, packages, and materials.
• Use Fed Ex and UPS shipping software proficiently
• Catalog, organize, and maintain the stockroom routine to ensure optimal inventory flow, cleanliness, and audit readiness.
• Coordinate large-scale shipments, optimize storage space, and manage labor schedules for efficient handling of peak inventory arrivals.
• Generate detailed shipping/receiving reports for management while strictly adhering to internal safety and environmental management standards.
• Analyze and resolve complex logistics delays, inventory discrepancies, and shipping-related customer issues.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
• working weekends

• Fed Ex shipping software (2 years of experience is required)
