It unites us, inspires us, and challenges us to be better every day, driven by our agile, performance-focused culture.The Manager Customer Strategy & Planning are Market Place Experts that translates the vision and strategy of HALEON’s categories and brands into an actionable set of customer specific priorities (e.g., support best in class innovation launches, assortment objectives, pricing goals, trade funding tactics and effectiveness, merchandising objectives). Through insight driven trade strategies and activation they win with customers, connect with shoppers and drive disproportionate profitable growth for our brands, categories and customers.Key Responsibilities:Translates Brand Objectives, Strategies and Activation Plans into 4P strategies to guide sales priorities that fuel sales / market share / profit growth for both Haleon and Retailers in an Omni worldEmbed in commercial planning, with trade optimized by customer segmentation, with promotions and assortment driving profitable, efficient growthLead and facilitate annual Customer planning and delivery to meet identified timelines and requirements, then supports Retailer Account Teams in activating and delivering against sales objectives and prioritiesPromote discussions and updates on key brand priorities through both 1:1 and group overviews to continuously improve strategies and brand activation plansAssist with Customer Performance, insights into Trade events and supply / inventory challengesDrive alignment on business situations throughout the organization to include Brand, Sales, NRM, Shopper Marketing, Finance, Supply, Analytics and Sales Operations on unique Customer and overall Brand initiatives.Responsible for the Management of the Trade Promotion ManagerLocation: Berkeley Heights, NJ (Hybrid - 3 days onsite per week)Salary range: $137,185 - $188,630 USD annually plus an annual bonus.Why you?Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:Bachelor's Degree5+ years' experience in a related commercial role such as (but not limited to) Customer Strategy, Trade Marketing or Customer facing sales role with a preference for consumer-packaged goodsExperience interpreting data and leveraging insights to build and execute category/brand trade strategiesExcellent financial management skills including brand P&Ls, ROI, and budget managementPreferred Qualifications:If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:Exceptional knowledge of Retail customers and the marketplace, with customer facing experienceStrong background in developing sales strategies, and support multiple processes & systems (e.g., sales reporting, syndicated data, etc.)Robust analytical capabilities with ability to translate into action-minded strategiesExcellent written & oral communication skills with the ability to engage and influence up to Executive levelBuilding strong relationships and collaboration, managing trusted stakeholder relationships internally and externallyExcellent organization, time management and prioritization skills; proven ability to balance multiple critical tasks and consistently delivering against hard deadlinesDeveloping people and building a future talent pipelineBenefitsHaleon offers a robust Total Reward package that consists of competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits program.
