RN - Stepdown

Registered Nurse (RN)12-hour night shifts (1845 to 0715) with a schedule of 36 hours per week following the first week of orientation. Please note there is no guarantee of hours.Two years of nursing experience is required.General Certifications: ACLS, BLS/BCLSCandidates must possess a valid State of HI nursing license by the start of the assignment. If you do not have an active license upon acceptance, please apply immediately.Documentation of immunity is required; medical and religious exemption requests will not be accepted.The role requires floating between various medical and surgical units, including:Medical UnitLaulima Unit (Surgical Acute)Cardiovascular Unit (on rare occasions)Equipment Utilized:Meditech EMRPyxisWound vacChest tubesThe nurse-to-patient ratios for the units are as follows:Medical Unit: 1:6 for days and evenings, 1:8 for nightsLaulima Unit: 1:6Cardiovascular Unit: 1:4Ratios may vary due to unexpected leaves.Professional nursing attire, including clean scrubs, is required.Orientation will be provided for each unit to ensure effective integration into the team.Availability for holiday coverage is required.
