Step into a dynamic school environment supporting K-12 students as a School Speech-Language Pathologist in the Fredericksburg, VA region. This full-time, contract-based opportunity calls for dedicated professionals ready to make a positive impact on students’ communication and language development. You'll be providing services while covering two maternity leaves—one beginning around December/January and extending to early March, and the other starting mid-November, anticipated to last through spring break at the end of March. This engaging caseload spans elementary to high school grades, providing a rewarding opportunity to work with a variety of student needs.

Candidates holding either their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or in their Clinical Fellowship (CF) year are encouraged to apply. Flexibility is offered within the K-12 setting, so please communicate any grade preferences.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active state licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligible Clinical Fellows (CFs) will be considered
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive speech, language, and communication services to K-12 students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families
• Maintain accurate records and provide ongoing progress documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams
