Full-Time | Onsite | Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Salary: $30,000 to $45,000 annually, based on experience

A well-established commercial sign manufacturing and installation company is seeking an Invoicing Clerk to support its continued growth.

This position is being created to separate customer invoicing from general bookkeeping. The Invoicing Clerk will serve as an important final checkpoint in the project process, ensuring completed work is reviewed accurately, documented thoroughly, and invoiced correctly.

What You Will Do

Each project begins with a site survey and moves through estimating, permitting, material ordering, installation, and completion. Once the work is finished, you will review the completed job file and prepare the customer invoice.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Review completed project folders from the original contract through final installation
• Confirm that contracted work, labor, materials, permit fees, taxes, and approved additions are included
• Identify additional billable work that may have been required during the project
• Prepare accurate customer invoices using a customized in-house system
• Enter and process invoices through Sage, formerly known as Peachtree
• Submit completed invoices for internal review before they are sent to customers
• Maintain organized and complete invoicing records
• Communicate with estimators, operations staff, accounting support, and leadership when information requires clarification
• Assist with limited data entry or light administrative invoicing responsibilities as needed

You will not be expected to arrive knowing the company's process. Hands-on training will be provided on customized internal software, invoicing procedures, project terminology, and Sage accounting software.

• General computer proficiency and the ability to learn new systems; Microsoft Excel knowledge is an advantage

• The ability to collaborate with estimators, operations staff, accounting support, and leadership

Previous invoicing, billing, bookkeeping, accounts receivable, or administrative experience is helpful, but industry-specific experience is not required.

A college degree is not required.

You will work closely with the Vice President of Operations and an accessible company owner who remains involved in the business and available to employees.

Compensation, Benefits, and Perks

• Annual salary of $30,000 to $45,000, based on experience and overall fit
• Two weeks of paid vacation after 90 days, prorated during the first partial calendar year when applicable
• Paid company holidays after 90 days
