THIS POSITION IS FRIDAY - SUNDAY ONLY!!! 5 AM - 5PM OR 5PM - 5 AM - DO NOT APPLY IF YOU CANNOT WORK WEEKENDS!!!

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to perform essential duties

• High School graduate or equivalent

• Internal Transfer - minimum of six (6) months’ Turret experience

• External Hire – minimum of 2-3 years CNC laser experience

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for the setup and operation of a CNC laser to cut parts from various sizes of steel sheets; loads steel into machine, cycles machine, detects malfunctions in machine operations, maintains quality and safety standards.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

• Must be able to read and interpret drawings, follow routers and use simple math to perform basic calculations.

• Must be able to set-up, align the laser and select proper cutting programs.

• Perform necessary troubleshooting, maintenance and preventative maintenance of the laser per company procedures.

• Comply with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions.

• Must be able to visually and dimensionally inspect produced parts.

• Must be able to change material on worktable.

• Update computer records and paperwork in accordance with production requirements.

• Maintain work area in clean, orderly condition and follow prescribed safety procedures.

• Ability to work with chemicals, solvents, and lubricants.

• Must have a working command of the English language and be able to communicate orally and in writing.

MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:

While the following tasks are necessary for the work of the department, they are not an essential part of the purpose of this position and may also be performed by other department members.

• Lift/Carry parts ranging from 20 lbs. – 50 lbs. occasionally up to 2.5 hours a day.

• Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
