Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Appointment Coordinator to manage scheduling for imaging exams within a respected healthcare facility serving the Pacific Northwest region. This role involves coordinating patient appointments, providing clear preparation instructions, and ensuring patients know where to go for their exams. The ideal candidate will handle all communications with professionalism and efficiency, contributing to a smooth patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to safety and infection control protocols.
• Schedule imaging appointments and provide patients with necessary preparation details.
• Direct patients to the appropriate locations for their exams.
• Respond to phone inquiries courteously and promptly.
• Prioritize and schedule urgent exams as needed.
• Confirm appointment times with patients through follow-up calls.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience scheduling appointments in a medical clinic setting; radiology experience may substitute for scheduling experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to comprehend medical terminology and related documents.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
