Workday Technology ManagerPermanent Position Onsite 5 days/week in Raleigh, NC - client providing relocation assistanceWe're partnering with an organization seeking a highly experienced Workday Technology Manager to lead the strategy, delivery, and ongoing optimization of key Workday technology solutions, including Reporting, Prism Analytics, Integrations, and Workday Extend.This is an exciting opportunity for a senior Workday technology leader who combines deep technical expertise with strong people leadership. You'll oversee a growing HR technology function while remaining hands-on in the design and delivery of scalable Workday solutions that drive business value.The ideal candidate brings a strong background in Workday platform technologies, experience leading teams, and the ability to partner cross-functionally with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT stakeholders to improve system performance and user experience.What You'll Be DoingLead the strategy, design, and delivery of Workday technology solutions, including: Workday ReportingWorkday Prism AnalyticsWorkday IntegrationsWorkday ExtendManage and mentor a team of Workday technologists while fostering a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing cultureOversee intake, prioritization, and execution of Workday-related requests and initiativesDesign and deliver Workday Extend solutions to support evolving HR business needsEstablish governance standards for reporting, analytics, integrations, and development best practicesPartner closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT teams to align technology capabilities with business goalsLead Workday release planning, upgrades, testing coordination, and rollout strategiesProvide operational support and continuous optimization of Workday systemsIdentify risks, troubleshoot issues, and implement scalable solutions in a fast-paced environmentServe as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert for HR technology initiatives across the organizationWhat We're Looking ForRequired Experience8+ years of HR technology experience, including deep hands-on Workday expertiseStrong experience supporting and optimizing: Workday HCMComplex Workday configurationsCalculated fieldsReporting and dashboard development5+ years of Workday implementation, support, or operational experienceExtensive experience building and supporting Workday integrationsHands-on expertise with: Workday ExtendWorkday Prism AnalyticsWorkday Reporting & DashboardsOrchestrations and automationExperience designing and maintaining: Advanced reportsScorecardsComposite and matrix reportsExecutive dashboards and hubsStrong understanding of enterprise HR systems, data flows, security, and governancePrior leadership or management experience with technical teamsProven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver complex initiatives successfullyPreferred ExperienceExperience with ERP or enterprise system implementationsConfiguration experience across HR and Financial systemsWorkday certifications are strongly preferred, particularly in: IntegrationsExtendPrism AnalyticsReportingExperience with database concepts and technical data structuresBackground in building scalable HR technology ecosystemsWhat Success Looks LikeWe're looking for someone who:Thrives in a hands-on leadership roleCan balance technical execution with strategic thinkingEnjoys mentoring and evolving technical teamsWorks independently while partnering effectively with leadershipBrings a continuous improvement mindset and proactively introduces innovative solutionsWork EnvironmentOnsite positionHighly collaborative environment with strong cross-functional partnershipOpportunity to influence and shape the future of a growing Workday technology functionHigh visibility with meaningful impact across HR and enterprise systemsIf you're passionate about Workday technology, integrations, reporting, and building scalable HR systems, we'd love to connect.
