Billing Specialist

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dental Biller to join our dynamic team. Previous experience in dental billing or in a dental office. Proficient in dental billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems. Currently using carestack. Familiarity with dental coding and insurance practices. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient service. Basic understanding of accounting principles is a plus. Responsibilities Include Accurately process dental claims and invoices for services rendered. Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits, obtaining necessary pre-authorizations when required. Maintain and update patient records to ensure accurate billing. Communicate with insurance companies to resolve claim issues, appeals, and denials. Assist patients with billing inquiries, payment plans, and account statements. Follow up on unpaid invoices and outstanding insurance claims to ensure timely payment. Collaborate with the dental team to provide accurate coding for procedures based on industry standards. Monitor accounts receivable reports and provide timely updates to management.
