Senior Director Operations

Senior Director of Operations at Thermo Fisher Scientific will lead complex manufacturing operations in regulated environments, driving strategic growth and operational excellence. The role involves directing high-quality product production, optimizing end-to-end operations, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and developing high-performing teams.
Responsibilities
- Direct production operations while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and exceptional customer service
- Establish and execute strategic operational plans aligned with business growth objectives
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives and support PPI business system adoption
- Develop and manage P&L responsibilities while scaling operations to meet demand
- Build and mentor high-performing, engaged teams across cross-functional departments
Requirements
- Advanced degree plus 8 years operations leadership experience, or bachelor's degree plus 10 years in regulated manufacturing
- Engineering, chemistry, biology, business, or related technical/scientific field preferred
- Advanced training in continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean
- Demonstrated P&L management and operational excellence experience at scale
- Strong knowledge of cGMP, FDA, and relevant quality and regulatory requirements
- Experience leading and developing large, multi-functional teams
- Proficiency with ERP systems and manufacturing technologies
