About the Position

Job Title: RRT-NICU Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT-NICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of NICU experience required License: State Respiratory license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, RRT Must-Have: Level IV NICU trained RT willing to do Adult floor and ICU Description: Position requires RRT with NICU experience. Candidates must have Level IV NICU training. Willingness to work on Adult floor and ICU is necessary. Weekend shifts may be required as per unit needs. BLS certification is mandatory. No on-call duties are required. Floating within the hospital is expected. Previous experience with high acuity patients is preferred. Candidates must be comfortable with various respiratory equipment. Skills in troubleshooting high-pressure alarms and weaning from mechanical ventilation are necessary. Candidates should have experience with neonatal transports and emergency interventions. Familiarity with charting using EPIC is preferred. References from prior supervisory roles are required. All candidates must disclose any background check issues upon submission.
