Ultrasound Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Variable 10-hour shifts, with opportunities for on-call during night shifts. Start times at 6:30 AM or 11:00 AM.

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Ultrasound Technologist to perform ultrasound imaging procedures. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and familiarity with various ultrasound applications, including obstetric and abdominal imaging.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of ultrasound examinations in compliance with departmental protocols.
• Document and communicate findings effectively with the medical team.
• Ensure proper maintenance and safety of ultrasound equipment.
• Assist in training and orienting new staff as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ultrasound role.
• Required certifications: ARDMS, ARRT R*, BLS, RVT*, and ARDMS in at least one category.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system is a plus.
• Must hold a valid compact state license at the time of submission.
