Licensure/Certifications: Valid RN license in Louisiana, BLS, CPI, ACLS, PALS

Experience: 2+ years of ER nursing experience

Hourly Rate: $54.31/hour

What You'll Do

Provide high-quality nursing care in the Emergency Department
Assess patient conditions and prioritize care needs
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
Document care activities accurately using electronic health record systems
Educate patients and families on health management and safety
Ensure compliance with health laws and safety standards
Respond swiftly to emergency situations and support the team

What You Need

Required:

Valid Louisiana RN license
BLS, CPI, ACLS, PALS certifications
At least 2 years of ER nursing experience
Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred:

Additional clinical specialty certifications
Experience with computer-based documentation

About the Assignment This assignment at a leading healthcare facility involves providing urgent and emergent nursing care in a fast-paced ER environment. You will assess and stabilize patients, support families, and work closely with physicians and staff to deliver compassionate, efficient care. The shift is night-time, offering a dynamic setting for experienced ER nurses eager to make a difference.
