Radiologic Technologist - Interventional Radiology/Cardiology Hermiston, OR Specialty: Special Procedures Tech (SPT) Position Type: Travel Contract Length: 13 weeks Pay: $2956 - $3561 | Shift: Days Are you an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist eager to make a significant impact in patient care? Our healthcare partner is seeking a dedicated professional to join their team, supporting diagnostic and interventional procedures with expertise and compassion. As a Radiologic Technologist specializing in Interventional Radiology/Cardiology, you will play a crucial role in ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care. You will work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary team, demonstrating advanced technical competence in procedural imaging, radiation safety, and hemodynamic monitoring.
- Operate fluoroscopic and radiographic imaging systems during diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Ensure optimal image quality and equipment functionality
- Maintain strict adherence to ALARA principles and radiation safety policies
- Function as a scrub technologist using sterile techniques during procedures
- Record hemodynamic data and procedural events accurately
- Assist with patient preparation and positioning
- Manage supplies and maintain procedure room readiness
- Perform equipment checks and ensure proper device storage
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Current Oregon State licensure issued by OBMI, ARRT certification, RT(R)
- Current BLS, ACLS certification (or within 6 months of hire)
- At least one year of experience in Interventional Radiology and/or Cath Lab
- Ability to work independently and make informed decisions
- Bilingual and/or English-Spanish speaking preferred
