Service Advisor / Service Writer

Bidleman Ford of Auburn is hiring an experienced Automotive Service Advisor / Service Writer. We are looking for a true service professional who understands how to manage customers, technicians, repair orders, follow‑up, declined service, and a busy service drive. This is not an entry‑level position. We are looking for someone who has already worked as a Service Advisor, Service Writer, or Service Consultant in an automotive dealership or high‑volume repair environment. Compensation $70,000–$90,000+ annual earning potential Compensation includes strong base pay plus performance‑based incentives. This is a production‑driven environment where pay is directly tied to performance and results. Actual earnings will be based on experience, production, customer satisfaction, and the ability to manage service volume. If you are self‑motivated, accountable, and willing to put in the effort, this role offers significant earning potential. What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who can step into a busy service department and help us continue building a stronger, more balanced team. The right person will be organized, professional, customer‑focused, and capable of handling a real workload without needing to be taught the basics of the advisor position. Responsibilities Greet service customers and write accurate repair orders Communicate clearly with customers throughout the repair process Sell recommended maintenance and needed repairs professionally Work with technicians, dispatch, parts, and management to keep repair orders moving Follow up on declined services and open estimates Maintain strong customer satisfaction and professional communication Monitor open repair orders and keep customers updated Track and manage key performance metrics that contribute to individual and department success Help improve the service department process, workflow, and accountability Build long‑term relationships with customers Requirements Prior experience as an Automotive Service Advisor, Service Writer, or Service Consultant required Dealership experience preferred Ford experience is a plus, but not required CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack, Tekion, or similar DMS experience preferred Strong communication and follow‑up skills Ability to manage multiple repair orders and customer conversations at once Professional appearance and attitude Strong sales ability without being pushy Self‑motivated with a strong work ethic and a results‑driven mindset Accountable and willing to focus on the metrics that lead to success High‑energy team player who is coachable and open to feedback Valid driver’s license Must be dependable, organized, and able to work as part of a team What We Offer $70,000–$90,000+ annual earning potential Strong base pay plus performance incentives Busy service department with existing customer traffic Opportunity to grow with a larger dealership group Supportive management team Medical, dental, and vision benefits Paid time off 401(k) Employee discounts Long‑term career opportunity About Us Bidleman Ford of Auburn is part of Bidleman Auto Group, a growing automotive group focused on building strong teams, improving processes, and creating long‑term opportunities for the right people.
