Job Summary This position manages customer relationships, maximizing account growth by leading and executing the strategic vision of assigned accounts. Responsibilities Drive long‑term partnership value by understanding clients’ businesses, technical challenges, operating environment, capabilities, goals, industry, and competitive landscape. Build and execute joint business plans to increase overall value delivered and expand solution adoption. Conduct regular customer business reviews to ensure alignment, document value, and maintain high customer satisfaction. Manage all financial aspects of managed accounts, including profitability, budget, tracking, reporting, and billing. Deliver projects on schedule and within budget while meeting agreed customer requirements and specifications. Identify and implement customer opportunities for supply‑cost reduction, rebate growth, quality and safety improvements, sustainability, and use of local and diversity vendors. Align cross‑functional teams and stakeholders around the account vision and business delivery, driving indirect and direct resources toward shared goals. Visit clients frequently to review product adoption, showcase new or upcoming programs, and align mutual goals. Coach and support direct reports and act as a point of escalation for specific issues. Analyze data performance and recommend actions to internal teams and customers to further business goals. Undertake people‑management duties, including training plans, performance appraisals, and performance‑related issues. Manage all aspects of customer contract requirements using project‑management tools. Participate in customer agreement renewal RFPs. Maintain strong relationships within managed accounts to enhance business opportunities. Become a trusted advisor by developing expertise in company programs and unique customer needs. Lead strategic oversight of accounts to translate strategy into actionable plans, campaigns, and projects for customer growth and satisfaction. Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required; MBA preferred. 7+ years’ experience in enterprise B2B organizations or customer success, with 5+ years leading a team of direct reports. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Proven record in developing strategic business plans and managing cross‑functional projects. Ability to build effective long‑term relationships across functions and external parties. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPivot, Word, and PowerPoint required. Up to 50% travel annually.
