Phlebotomy Site Coordinator

LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomy Site Coordinator to join our team in South Bend, Indiana. Work Schedule: Monday–Friday rotational start and end times from 7:00am–5:00pm with rotational Saturdays 8:00am–12:00pm. Job Responsibilities Observe and report any performance, compliance or staffing related issues to supervisors Manage and monitor patient flow, wait times, inventory levels and information logs Monitor monthly productivity reports and report any deviations as necessary Address any customer service related issues in a prompt and respectful manner Promote teamwork, cohesiveness and effective communication among coworkers Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc. Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner Process billing information and collect payments when required Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED or equivalent 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist Preferred Qualifications 2 years or more experience as a people leader 4 years or more of phlebotomy experience in an outpatient lab setting Additional Job Standards In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency In‑depth knowledge of phlebotomy duties, responsibilities and techniques Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently or in a team environment Comfortable working under minimal supervision Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable Flexibility to work overtime as needed Able to pass a standardized color‑blindness test Valid driver’s license and clean driving record with reliable transportation Be at least 21 years old Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan (for employees regularly scheduled 20+ hours per week) 401(k) Plan (for employees on a 7 on/7 off schedule and for those scheduled less than 20 hours) Salary bonus under the PST Incentive Plan for eligible phlebotomists Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
