Senior Full-Stack Developer [Remote]

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer based in United States.

This fully remote role offers the opportunity to build web and mobile products that help startup founders turn ambitious ideas into market-ready software.
You will take ownership of significant features and initiatives across the full development lifecycle, balancing technical quality, speed, and product goals.
Working closely with product managers, project leaders, designers, and fellow developers, you will transform requirements into intuitive and reliable solutions.
The role combines hands-on engineering with thoughtful problem-solving, requiring both attention to implementation details and an understanding of the broader product vision.
You will work with modern JavaScript and TypeScript technologies, React, Node.js, APIs, relational databases, and cloud-oriented development practices.
As a senior team member, you will contribute to planning, code reviews, testing, technical discussions, and identifying potential blockers before they affect delivery.
You will also have exposure to diverse startup projects and emerging technologies, including opportunities to explore the growing impact of AI on software development.

Accountabilities:

The Senior Full-Stack Developer will take ownership of complex development initiatives while collaborating closely with a distributed product and engineering team to deliver high-quality software efficiently.

• Translate product requirements into well-designed, scalable, and user-focused software features.
• Own the full lifecycle of large features and initiatives with minimal supervision, from understanding requirements through implementation and testing.
• Develop and maintain high-quality JavaScript and TypeScript applications using Node.js and React.
• Implement and integrate REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Work with PostgreSQL and relational databases to support reliable and efficient application functionality.
• Apply software development best practices while balancing quality, cost, scope, and delivery speed.
• Analyze requirements and test scripts carefully to ensure solutions meet functional and user expectations.
• Test code locally and participate in regular code reviews to maintain engineering quality.
• Collaborate with product managers, project leadership, designers, and other developers throughout the development process.
• Participate in planning and scope management, providing technical input on estimates, feasibility, and implementation approaches.
• Communicate progress and updates proactively with the distributed team.
• Identify current and potential blockers and work proactively to keep projects moving.
• Ask questions, challenge assumptions, and suggest improvements that can lead to better technical and product outcomes.
• Contribute to a collaborative culture built around transparent communication, continuous improvement, quality, and accountability.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced full-stack developer who combines strong technical fundamentals with ownership, adaptability, and clear communication in a distributed environment.

• 5+ years of professional experience in JavaScript and TypeScript software development.
• 5+ years of experience working with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Strong proficiency in React and modern front-end development practices.
• Demonstrated ability to independently own and deliver large features or initiatives with minimal supervision.
• Experience implementing and integrating APIs using REST and/or GraphQL.
• Solid experience working with PostgreSQL and relational databases.
• Good working knowledge of CSS.
• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on functionality, usability, quality, and security.
• Ability to understand both the broader product objectives and the technical details required to deliver them.
• Comfortable adapting to changing requirements, priorities, and technical challenges.
• Proactive and reliable communication style, particularly when collaborating with distributed teams.
• Conversational English proficiency at approximately B2–C1 level.
• Ability to work effectively with remote teams and maintain consistent communication and accountability.
• LATAM-based location is preferred to align with the team’s working hours and collaboration needs.

Additional experience with the following technologies or practices is considered a plus:

• Material UI.
• Elasticsearch.
• Advanced SQL and PostgreSQL.
• Cypress.
• tRPC.
• Algolia.
• Basic AWS and DevOps concepts, including Docker, EC2, and S3.
• Unit and end-to-end testing.
• Designing product mockups using tools such as Balsamiq or Figma.
