DESCRIPTION

We provide meaningful day habilitation services for our adult members to be active participants in their community so they can build life skills, make choices, and pursue activities and hobbies they enjoy. Imagine spending your day helping people with:

• Community exploration and local events
• Leisure activities, hobbies, and social interactions
• Building friendships and peer connections
• Training in self-determination and daily living skills
• Maintaining family contacts and active community inclusion

As one of our  Day Habilitation Specialists , you will work directly with 1–10 assigned program adult members, offering person-centered support to make independence possible both in our facility setting and out in the community. You will assist members with skill building, behavioral support, personal care, and medication administration as needed, while modeling positive behavior and fostering a respectful environment.

In this role, workdays include spending time on your feet, guiding activities, and providing transportation to members to and from the habilitation site and community events within a 30+ mile radius.

REQUIREMENTS

1. High school diploma/GED or above.
2. Ability to type 25 words per minute and navigate a company-issued laptop.
3. A clean driving record and willingness to transport clients in company vehicles.
4. Ability to pass a background and drug screening (a list of the disqualifying offenses can be provided if needed).
