The ultimate goal of all back of house employees is to prepare exceptional quality food creating a unique experience for each customer. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in fry and oven cooking, prepping, cutting in a high volume quick service or fast casual restaurant. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up the kitchen with necessary tools and equipment
- Prepare food and present to specifications in an appealing manner
- Supervise and delegate tasks to other team members when appropriate
- Maintain appropriate levels of inventory and restock when necessary
- Follow all food safety regulations
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation
- Participate in daily kitchen opening and closing procedures
- Implement new menu items as created and instructed
- Performs other related duties as assigned by Culinary Director or Restaurant Manager
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- ServeSafe or Food Handlers Certification
- Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes a plus
- Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure
- Excellent time management skills
- Works well in a respectful, disciplined, high energy, positive team environment
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 pounds

El objetivo principal del equipo de cocina es preparar alimentos de alta calidad y crear una experiencia nica para cada cliente. El candidato ideal tendr experiencia previa en freidora y horno, preparacin y corte de alimentos en un restaurante de alto volumen, servicio rpido o fast casual. Responsabilidades:
- Preparar la cocina con las herramientas y equipos necesarios
- Preparar los alimentos y presentarlos segn los estndares establecidos
- Supervisar y delegar tareas a otros miembros del equipo cuando sea necesario
- Mantener niveles adecuados de inventario y reabastecer cuando sea necesario
- Seguir todas las normas de seguridad alimentaria
- Mantener altos estndares de limpieza y sanidad
- Participar en los procedimientos diarios de apertura y cierre de cocina
- Implementar nuevos platillos segn las indicaciones
- Realizar otras tareas asignadas por el Director Culinario o el Gerente
- Experiencia previa en un puesto similar es preferida
- Certificacin de ServSafe o manipulador de alimentos
- Conocimiento avanzado de tcnicas culinarias (deseable)
- Capacidad para mantenerse calmado y trabajar bajo presin
- Buen manejo del tiempo
- Capacidad para trabajar en un ambiente respetuoso, disciplinado, dinmico y positivo
- Capacidad para cumplir con las exigencias fsicas del puesto, incluyendo estar de pie por largos perodos y levantar hasta 40 libras
