As a Customer Coordinator, supporting the in-store customer experience team, you will:

• Oversee day-to-day operations that are assigned by the Team Leader, including opening and/or closing duties for the unit which also include key and alarm code responsibilities.
• Troubleshoot and apply appropriate corrective actions such as emergency and incident response, authorization, access, etc.
• Enhance the shopping journey of our visitors to IKEA by collaborating with all functions to increase co-worker competence and knowledge.
• Ensure customers receive consistent information throughout their shopping journey.
• Record information in the relevant systems to improve the customer's future shopping experience.
• Enhance customer relationships to boost sales and ensure sustained profitability by understanding IKEA's product range and services.
• When needed, offer alternative solutions that meet the needs of individual customers.
• Forge a team mindset centered around first time right for every customer, ensuring a positive customer journey.
• Take part in additional department responsibilities to secure the daily operation for co-workers and customers.
• Contribute to an environment where the IKEA culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of related experience.
• 1 year of experience in a customer service and customer-focused environment.
• Requirements: Physical Demands: Lifting, Pushing/Pulling, Sliding/Transferring and Carrying Occasionally (1-50lbs).

JOB TYPE – Permanent HOURS - 40 hours per week /Benefits Eligible SHIFTS – Fully open work schedule availability including evenings and weekends required; Operations generally range between the window of 7am to 11pm; Work schedules are published one month in advance The pay range for this role is $24.72- $33.19 At IKEA, taking care of our co-workers and their dependents is a top priority.
