This contract paraprofessional opportunity offers 35 hours per week, collaborating closely with a dedicated special education teacher and serving elementary, middle, or high school students—all housed within one convenient campus.

Your responsibilities will include working under the direct supervision of the special education teacher, ensuring you play an integral role in the classroom setting. You may be called upon to assist with a variety of needs, including health care support, academic guidance, and behavior management, adapting to the diverse needs of students across grade levels. Flexibility and the ability to build positive relationships are key to success in this rewarding role.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current special education program aide license or special education license in another area
• Experience or interest in working with students in special education settings
• Strong teamwork skills and willingness to collaborate with teachers and other staff
• Ability to assist with health care tasks and behavioral support as directed
• Effective communication and adaptability to changing classroom needs

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supporting individualized education plans under licensed teacher supervision
• Providing academic and behavior support tailored to student needs
• Assisting with personal care or health tasks as needed
• Engaging in flexible assignments serving a range of grade levels on a single, unified campus
