School Speech Language Pathologist - Chester, PA

Exciting opportunities await for skilled professionals ready to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic school environment! This full-time, contract-based position supports students in a vibrant educational setting, with three openings available: one for an elementary caseload, one for middle school (grades 6-8), and one for a high school caseload. The role begins as soon as possible and is expected to continue through June 10, 2027. This is an onsite-only position supporting students Monday through Friday, 35 hours each week, within the hours of 7:15 AM and 4:00 PM.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active certification and licensure as an SLP or PT (as applicable) in Pennsylvania
  • Prior school-based experience required
  • Ability to secure all required Pennsylvania clearances
  • Experience working in an urban school setting
  • Reliable transportation for daily commute
  • Flexibility to work during required onsite schedule (no adjustments to hours can be accommodated)
  • Comfortable and adaptable in school district and local urban community
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver therapy services to assigned caseload (elementary, middle, or high school students based on position)
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized plans for students
  • Complete evaluations, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Support students’ communication, physical, or learning needs in a diverse, dynamic environment
  • Engage as an integral member of the school team, prioritizing student outcomes

Additional Information:

  • All positions are onsite only; remote work is not available as the district has existing virtual staff
  • Start date is immediate upon successful onboarding
  • Interviews for qualified candidates will be conducted via Zoom
