Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

This position is located in Greensboro, offering a full‑time, salaried role (40 hours/week, Monday–Friday 8 am‑5 pm), with no call responsibilities. Essential Job Functions Performs office physical assessments, reviews medical histories, and interprets diagnostic tests to provide effective treatment. Conducts preventive health screenings tailored to patient needs. Educates patients and families about medical conditions, treatments, and follow‑up care. Maintains accurate patient records across offices. Performs office‑based specialty procedures per departmental guidelines. Identifies improvement opportunities in outpatient care through assessment and problem‑solving. Performs other duties as assigned. Education Master’s degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies required. Existing Physician Assistants with a Bachelor’s degree may have the requirement waived if employed prior to October 14, 2024, with active licensure and board certification. Experience Open to new graduates; preferred 3+ years but not required. Licensure/Certification Valid NC RN, NP, or PA license, with board certification within 1 year of hire.
