Job Description

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including detailed medical histories and physical examinations
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through analysis of imaging and lab data
• Collaborate with surgeons to develop and implement individualized surgical plans for patients
• Provide intraoperative assistance, including preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and managing surgical instruments
• Administer outstanding pre- and post-operative care, including medication, wound management, patient education, and discharge planning

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preferred completion of clinical rotations with a strong surgical focus

Certifications

• Current unrestricted PA-C certification
• Required certifications in BLS and ACLS
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of surgical techniques and sterile practices
