Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments to understand clients’ needs and background, developing tailored treatment plans for effective intervention. Deliver individual therapy sessions utilizing various modalities, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness techniques, to promote healing and personal growth. Set specific, measurable therapeutic goals for clients, regularly monitoring their progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary. Offer teletherapy services to ensure accessibility for clients facing challenges in attending in-person appointments. Maintain accurate and confidential documentation to ensure compliance with ethical standards and regulations. Engage in continuous professional development activities, including attending workshops, webinars, and peer consultations, to stay current with best practices in mental health counseling. Patient Population / Client Focus Your primary focus will be on a diverse client base dealing with a range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related disorders. You will work to create individualized therapeutic strategies that cater to the unique needs of each client, fostering an environment where they feel safe and supported throughout their therapeutic journey. Qualifications Current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and trust with clients. Empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental approach to therapy. Strong organizational and time-management abilities to juggle multiple client sessions and administrative tasks effectively. Preferred Experience Prior experience working in a community health clinic or private practice setting is highly preferred. Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and virtual counseling practices will promote a smooth transition into this role. Additionally, any experience with various therapeutic approaches, including trauma-informed care and mindfulness practices, will be beneficial. Compensation and Benefits This role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000, commensurate with your experience and the size of your caseload.
