Clinical Therapist

MLR (MLee Recruiting) is seeking a full-time, permanent, direct-hire Clinical Therapist to join a well-established healthcare team at an acute-care hospital near Merkel, Texas!

Salary: $74,500 - $97,358 per year

Clinical Therapist Responsibilities:

Client Assessments: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients' mental and emotional health, providing accurate diagnoses using established assessment methods.

Schedule: Night shift, Monday through Friday.

Treatment Plan Development: Create individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs, incorporating evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

Therapy Sessions: Facilitate individual, group, or family therapy sessions focused on managing mental health challenges like anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational problems.

Qualifications:

Licensure: Must hold an active Respiratory Care license in Texas.
Credential Maintenance: Maintain active status with the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) under the Continuing Competency Program (CCP).
Graduate Therapist Pathway: Newly graduated therapists are required to obtain CRT credentials and must achieve RRT credentials within one year of graduation. If RRT credentials are not obtained within this timeframe, the therapist will transition to a Respiratory Care Practitioner role until certification is completed.
Basic Life Support (BLS): Must be certified before interacting with patients.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS): Certification required within six months of hire.
Pediatric Emergency Care (ENPC/PALS): Certification must be completed within one year of hire.
Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP): Must be certified within one year of employment.

Additional Duties:

Data Management: Accurately document patient information and treatment details in electronic health record systems.
Workplace Safety: Adhere to OSHA and NIOSH safety standards within the work environment.
