** Job Overview: **

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Receivable Clerk to provide financial, administrative, and clerical support within our accounting department. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of accounts receivable operations by processing and monitoring incoming payments, maintaining customer accounts, and supporting timely collections.

** Job Duties and Responsibilities ** :

• Post revenues by verifying invoices and entering transactions from deposits and credit card receipts.
• Maintains and updates customer files.
• Maintains records according to company policy.
• Resolves both valid and invalid deductions by accurately following company procedure.
• Resolves collections by examining customer payment history, credit line, and coordinating with the collections department.
• Summarize receivables by maintaining invoice accounts, verifying totals, and preparing reports.
• Copies, files, and retrieves materials for accounts receivable as needed.
• Relays changes of information to appropriate employees.
• Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
• Other Accounting duties and related tasks as needed.

** Required Skills: **

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• proficient in Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite software, along with other related accounting software and programs.
• Ability to efficiently operate other office equipment such as computer, 10-key calculator, scanner, copier, etc.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to anticipate customer needs and interact professionally.
• Excellent time management organizational skills, and attention to detail.

** Education and Experience: **

• High School or equivalent required.
• Associates or bachelor's in accounting preferred.
• At least 2 years' experience in related field required.

• Experience in a service environment strongly desired.
