Clayton Services is searching for a Bilingual Accounting Clerk to join a thriving company in the North Houston area. The Bilingual Accounting Clerk will be responsible for assisting the accounting department.
Job Type: Temp-to-HirePay Rate: $19.00 - $22.00/hour
Benefits: Excellent benefits are available after the successful completion of the temporary period.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM, plus one Saturday per month Bilingual Accounting Clerk Responsibilities:
- Conducts clerical tasks such as typing, filing, and completing basic forms.
- Utilizes various office equipment, including copiers, scanners, phones, computers, and other standard office machinery.
- Copies, organizes, and files records of office operations, business transactions, and relevant subjects.
- Manages filing systems both manually and electronically to ensure efficient record-keeping.
- Enters data into QuickBooks and performs account reconciliations and journal entries tasks.
- Undertakes additional responsibilities as assigned, in alignment with job requirements.
Bilingual Accounting Clerk Skills and Abilities:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish, required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
Bilingual Accounting Clerk Education and Experience:
- A high school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ year of accounting experience, preferred
