Responsibilities Operate all equipment in the sheet metal department after completing required training. Set up equipment and assist others as needed. Read and interpret engineering drawings and PDF files to perform tasks. Work independently while maintaining quality and productivity levels. Use measuring tools such as rulers, calipers, and tape measures accurately. Inspect jobs before moving them to the next operation, ensuring they meet all directions. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Follow company safety rules and regulations. Report equipment, quality, and safety issues to the sheet metal foreman. Assist the foreman as required. Understand bend allowance concepts. Communicate instructions and requirements in English. Stand, walk, sit, and use arms frequently; lift 25‑40 pounds independently or with a team lift of up to 40 pounds. Qualifications High school graduate. Knowledge of ELEC/MECH engineering, drawing, and BOM. Familiarity with manufacturing processes, equipment, and routing. Multiple task and project management skills. Problem‑solving skills or lean six sigma experience. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical reports, financial reports, and legal documents. Proficiency with mathematical concepts such as probability, statistics, geometry, and trigonometry. Ability to gather data, define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Proficiency reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints for materials and specifications. Compensation Base Salary $25.48/hour (approximately $52,998.40/year). The salary range may vary based on experience, education, location, and business priorities. Benefits Fully vested 401(k) match, up to 7%.
