Travel Nurse RN - Med-Surg - Nights

Any traveler not currently in possession of an active our client HI license must apply upon acceptance of offer. Candidate must have Hawaii License by start of assignment. Medical and religious exemption requests will not be accepted in lieu of documented proof of immunity.

General job duties include types of procedures required. Flex RN floats between various medical and surgical units. Shift or schedule requirements include 12-hour shifts - Night (1845 to 0715) - Scheduled 36 hours per week following first week of orientation. No guarantee of hours.

Equipment utilized in the unit/dept includes Meditech EMR; pyxis; wound vac; chest tubes.

Required skills and minimum years of experience include 2-10 years' experience.

Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required include BLS, ACLS (Preferred: PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, ENPC).

Floating to other units/departments includes Medical Unit; Laulima Unit; Cardiovascular Unit (on rare occasions).

Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept includes Medical - 77; Laulima (surgical Acute) - 18; Cardiovascular Unit - 15.

Nurse to patient ratio of this unit includes Medical 1:6 for days and eves, 1:8 for nights Laulima 1:6 Cardiovascular 1:4 Ratio may vary due to unexpected leaves.

Dress Code includes professional nursing attire - clean scrubs.
