Contract Aerospace Lead Auditor

Overview Immediate opening for Aerospace Lead Auditors who have already achieved AEA or AIEA status. Positions are home-based with extensive travel; no relocation needed. Responsibilities Develop audit scope and audit plan and manage audit team activities. Present audit team conclusions to the customer and review customer resolution of nonconformities. Assess customer needs and meet DQS Inc. service and customer satisfaction standards. Work independently and project a professional image. Apply principles and methods for management systems audits, including ISO‑9001 and AS‑9100. Travel extensively as required. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and minimum of four years’ experience in quality systems management. Certification as an AS9100 RevD Aerospace Experienced Lead Auditor (AA,AEA,AIEA) in the SAE OASIS database. Passed an accredited 40‑hour ISO9001 or AS9100 lead auditor course. Experience in implementation of AS9100, AS9110, and/or AS9120 is desired. Strong interpersonal, organizational, written and oral communication skills. Ability to self‑manage and set priorities with demonstrated follow‑through skills. Knowledge of computer hardware and software, including MS Office applications.
