Executive Assistant

The Executive Assistant to the VP of Government Affairs & Outreach will provide critical administrative and office support for the Government Affairs and Outreach team. Responsibilities Provide administrative and clerical support for one or more executives, including confidential work. Respond to inquiries from internal and external business partners. Assist in technical and functional services of the department—including project support, invoice management, document preparation for approval, presentations, data monitoring, and reporting. Maintain cost‑center data and analysis. Assist with preparation of budgets and forecasts. Supervise work of personnel on assigned projects. Mentor others. Serve as the front‑facing role for the D.C. office, managing relationships with building facilities and acting as liaison between various departments and office locations. Manage schedules and plan travel for senior executives. Plan and coordinate events with internal and external partners; support in‑person meetings. Develop briefing memos for lobbying activities and trade‑association event participation. Provide support for federal and state lobbyists, including development of materials, briefing books, schedules, and meeting trackers. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED; minimum five (5) years experience supporting executive management (Bachelor’s degree preferred). Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with a commitment to safety. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and PC skills, including Microsoft Teams. Excellent time‑management skills, especially coordinating executive meetings, calendars, and travel. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information. Beginner to intermediate knowledge of SharePoint. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects for various executives and teams across multiple locations.
