What You'll Do

• Manage a caseload independently, focusing on inpatient rehab, acute care, outpatient, and skilled nursing patient types
• Provide therapy for patients with various diagnoses, including spinal cord injuries, TBIs, strokes, amputees, hip fractures, and post-surgical cases
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Document patient progress using EMR systems such as Meditech and Wellsky
• Contribute to a dynamic rehab team in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Support patient recovery with evidence-based therapeutic interventions
• Participate in departmental orientation and ongoing team meetings

What You Need

• Required:
  • Current LA PT license
  • BLS certification
  • 1+ years of related experience
  • Ability to manage a patient caseload independently
• Preferred:
  • Experience with complex or medically fragile patient populations
  • Experience working with EMR systems like Meditech and Wellsky
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

About the Assignment

This role is with a leading facility in Shreveport, Louisiana, providing outpatient and inpatient rehab services for a diverse patient population. You will work under the supervision of experienced clinicians, offering support across a variety of patient diagnoses to enhance recovery outcomes. No weekend or holiday coverage required, with scheduled days Monday through Friday.
