The role offers significant visibility, direct client interaction, and the ability to influence the growth of a well-established consulting practice.The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in accounting and finance, understands how organizations operate beyond the software itself, and has successfully guided clients through ERP modernization initiatives involving Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Dynamics NAV, and/or Dynamics GP.This position is particularly attractive for:Independent ERP consultants seeking the stability and long-term growth opportunities of an established Implementation LeadershipLead end-to-end Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations.Guide clients through ERP assessments, software selection discussions, solution design, configuration, testing, training, and deployment.Support organizations transitioning from Dynamics GP, Dynamics NAV, and other legacy ERP solutions into modern cloud-based platforms.Collaborate with technical teams to support integrations, data migration strategies, reporting solutions, and application enhancements.Provide strategic recommendations that align technology investments with operational and financial objectives.Help clients maximize the value of existing Business Central environments through optimization and process improvement initiatives.Client AdvisoryServe as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, finance teams, operational stakeholders, and business owners.Facilitate discovery sessions and business process workshops.Translate complex operational and financial requirements into practical ERP solutions.Communicate project status, risks, recommendations, and implementation strategies to diverse stakeholder groups.Foster long-term client relationships built on credibility, responsiveness, and business insight.Business Process ImprovementAnalyze accounting, financial, operational, and reporting processes to identify improvement opportunities.Develop future-state recommendations leveraging Business Central capabilities and related Microsoft technologies.Assist organizations in improving reporting visibility, automation, controls, and operational efficiency.Support user adoption, organizational change management, training, and post-go-live success.Practice DevelopmentParticipate in client discovery meetings and solution discussions.Contribute to proposal development and solution positioning efforts.Identify opportunities for expanded consulting engagements and long-term client partnerships.Share knowledge and mentor junior team members as the practice continues to grow.Desired BackgroundRequired Experience8+ years of ERP consulting, implementation, or ERP-focused business transformation experience.Significant hands-on experience implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Dynamics NAV, and/or Dynamics GP.Demonstrated success leading client-facing ERP projects from discovery through go-live.Strong understanding of accounting, finance, reporting, and operational business processes.Experience working directly with executive stakeholders and decision-makers.Highly DesiredCurrent or previous experience working within a CPA firm, accounting advisory firm, ERP consulting firm, or technology consulting organization.Prior career experience in accounting, controllership, finance leadership, audit, or business operations before transitioning into ERP consulting.Independent consulting background with interest in joining an established organization and building a long-term practice.Experience supporting ERP modernization initiatives for mid-market organizations.Technical ExpertiseDeep knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.Strong understanding of Dynamics NAV and/or Dynamics GP migration considerations.Experience with data conversion, integrations, testing, reporting, and user adoption strategies.Familiarity with Power Platform, Microsoft reporting tools, and complementary Microsoft
