*The Opportunity*

We are seeking a motivated and skilled *Civil Defense Litigation Associate* with *3–6 years of experience* to join our New York & New Jersey team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who is looking to take ownership of their cases, build strong litigation experience, and grow within a dynamic and expanding firm.

*Key Responsibilities*

* Manage a caseload of general civil defense matters from inception through resolution
* Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
* Take and defend depositions
* Attend court conferences, hearings, and mediations
* Collaborate with partners and clients to develop case strategy
* Maintain strong client communication and deliver high-quality legal work

*Qualifications*

* *J.D. from an accredited law school*
* *Admitted to practice in New York as well as New Jersey (required)*
* *3–6 years of civil defense litigation experience*
* Strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Additional state bar admission(s) a plus (CT, NJ, MA, PA, or VT preferred)

*Compensation & Benefits*

* *Salary range: $140,000 – $180,000*, commensurate with experience and qualifications
