Schedule & Assignment Details

• 12-hour night shifts
• Required: Every other weekend and major holidays

Qualifications

• Current RN license (state or compact)
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• At least 1 year of RN experience (acute care preferred)
• Proficiency with EKGs; must pass exam upon orientation
• Experience with lab draws required
• Ability to manage cardiac, surgical, renal, and respiratory patients
• Strong communication, adaptability, and critical thinking skills

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop and evaluate care plans
• Administer medications safely in accordance with best practices
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams and act as a patient and family advocate
• Respond quickly to changing patient conditions using sound clinical judgment
• Support patient and family coping mechanisms, providing education and guidance
