Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting students from kindergarten through age 26 with occupational therapy services in an educational environment. This full-time position, based near Pontiac, MI, runs from August 24, 2026, through June 10, 2027, and offers 35 hours per week, exclusively onsite. Your expertise will help foster growth, increase independence, and promote academic success for a diverse student population.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Active Michigan Occupational Therapy (OT) license (screenshot required upon application)
• Documented school-based OT experience
• Proven ability to serve students ranging from early elementary to young adult transition age (K-26)
• Strong communication, organization, and collaborative problem-solving skills
• Must be comfortable working full-time onsite for the entirety of the assignment
• COTAs are not eligible for this position

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment goals in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Implement direct and consultative occupational therapy services for students within classroom and specialist settings
• Document services and progress according to school and state regulatory requirements
• Provide training, resources, and support to school staff and families to ensure generalization of skills
• Participate in IEP meetings, re-evaluations, and professional development sessions as required
• Maintain compliance with all policies, deadlines, and licensure standards
