Exciting opportunity for a dedicated occupational therapist to work in a supportive educational environment near Rochester, MI. This is a full-time contract position running from August 24, 2026, through June 10, 2027, with a consistent 35-hour work week. You’ll have the chance to support students from kindergarten through age 26, collaborating closely with school teams to foster student success and independence.

Key Qualifications:

• Current and valid Michigan Occupational Therapy (OT) license (please provide a screenshot of licensure with your application)
• Previous experience working within a school setting
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and students
• Strong skills in evaluation, intervention planning, and documentation
• Passion for fostering skill development in students with diverse needs
• Must fulfill onsite work requirements; remote work is not available for this role
• COTAs will not be considered for this position

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough occupational therapy assessments and develop individualized intervention plans for students from kindergarten through age 26
• Collaborate with educational staff to integrate OT activities into classroom routines and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Deliver direct therapy and monitor progress, adjusting plans as needed
• Document interventions and maintain accurate reports in line with school and state guidelines
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and school personnel to ensure supportive environments
