Exciting opportunity for a skilled occupational therapist to provide high-impact services and support in a dynamic school setting near Sterling Heights, MI. This contract role focuses exclusively on onsite work and offers the chance to truly make a difference in students’ educational journeys. You will collaborate with educators, families, and administrators to deliver occupational therapy for a diverse caseload of 30-40 students across multiple school locations.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Valid state license (or eligibility)
• Previous experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of developing, implementing, and monitoring IEP-driven goals
• Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
• Please note: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) submissions cannot be considered for this role, as supervision is not available

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students’ occupational therapy needs
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to support academic and functional success
• Deliver direct therapy, consult, and make recommendations to accommodate student needs within the educational environment
• Prepare documentation, progress notes, and necessary reports in line with school policies and legal guidelines
• Engage with multidisciplinary teams and participate in IEP meetings
• Provide training and resources to school staff and families to support therapy goals
