An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced Occupational Therapist passionate about supporting students’ growth and success. This full-time contract position runs from August 24, 2026, through June 10, 2027, with a 35-hour work week, serving students from kindergarten through age 26. Work onsite and become an integral resource for learners and educators alike, making a genuine impact in a school-based setting.

Key Qualifications:

• Demonstrated school-based occupational therapy experience—previous time working with K–age 26 populations is highly preferred
• Active and valid Occupational Therapist license in Michigan (submission requires a screenshot of verification; please confirm your OT license via Michigan’s licensing portal before applying)
• Strong understanding of current OT practices as they relate to educational environments
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
• Comfortable with full onsite responsibilities; this is not a remote or hybrid opportunity
• Must be able to work independently—this position does not supervise or require COTA assistance

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy assessments, develop individualized plans, and implement direct therapy services to students
• Collaborate closely with special education teams, general educators, and families to optimize each student’s educational access and participation
• Maintain comprehensive documentation in line with school standards and state regulations
• Monitor and report on student progress while adapting strategies as needed
• Offer professional support to staff, fostering inclusive, productive classroom environments
