Principal Technical Support Engineer

About the Role Principal Technical Support Engineer – Airborne Antenna Design Department. Onsite position located in McKinney, TX. Requires an active DoD Secret security clearance. What You Will Do Collaborate with teams of engineers, assemblers, and technicians. Perform electrical engineering functions including design, building, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying electronic or electromechanical devices, assemblies, subsystems, and systems. Analyze production data to determine root‑cause analysis of failures. Participate in planning and executing rework of production assemblies. Coordinate and execute tasks in Raytheon antenna ranges, maintaining and standardizing range infrastructure to meet program requirements. Work the 1st shift (100% on‑site) in McKinney, TX. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM). Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, including but not limited to: Experience with RF fundamentals (electromagnetic spectrum, propagation delay, RF components). Experience with antenna measurement patterns and antenna operation. Knowledge of decibels (dB’s) and/or dBm values relative to power levels in watts. Preferred Qualifications RF experience and knowledge of microwave theory. Strong relationship‑building and clear communication skills within team environments. Result‑focused with the ability to drive tasks to closure. Active DoD Secret clearance with investigation completed within the last five years. What We Offer Salary Range: $107,500 – $204,500 USD (good‑faith estimate).
