Tax Accountant

Acuff Financial Services is seeking an experienced Tax Accountant to join our growing team. This is an in-office position responsible for preparing and reviewing a variety of federal and state tax returns while providing exceptional service to our individual and business clients. Responsibilities Prepare federal and state tax returns, including: Individual (Form 1040) Partnerships (Form 1065) S Corporations (Form 1120S) C Corporations (Form 1120) Trusts and Estates (Form 1041) Prepare and review business and corporate tax returns accurately and efficiently. Research tax issues and apply current federal and state tax laws. Communicate with clients regarding tax documents, questions, notices, and filing requirements. Assist with tax planning and projections for individuals and businesses. Work collaboratively with the tax team to meet filing deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality. Qualifications Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) license required. Minimum of 3 years of recent public accounting or tax preparation experience. Demonstrated experience preparing business tax returns, including Partnerships (1065), S Corporations (1120S), and C Corporations (1120). Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations. Experience with tax preparation software (Drake preferred, or similar) and QuickBooks. Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
