Role Description This full-time, on-site Commercial Insurance Agent role in Loveland, CO involves advising business clients on commercial insurance coverage, including property, liability, and casualty policies. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting and qualifying new clients, conducting risk assessments, preparing quotes, and presenting coverage options that align with client needs and budgets, and handling renewals for existing clientel. The agent will manage policy applications, endorsements, renewals, and claims support, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with company, carrier, and regulatory requirements. The role also requires maintaining strong customer relationships through responsive communication, periodic coverage reviews, and proactive outreach. Collaboration with insurance carriers and underwriters is essential to secure competitive terms and deliver comprehensive solutions. Qualifications Strong knowledge of Insurance and Commercial Insurance concepts, including coverage types, policy structures, and regulatory considerations. Experience with Insurance Brokerage activities, such as working with multiple carriers, negotiating terms, and coordinating policy placement. Background in Casualty Insurance, with the ability to assess liability exposures and recommend appropriate coverage options. Demonstrated Sales skills, including prospecting, consultative selling, closing, and maintaining a robust pipeline of business clients. Excellent Customer Service abilities, with a focus on responsive communication, relationship building, and conflict resolution. Attention to detail and organizational skills for managing documentation, renewals, and policy changes accurately and on time. Relevant state insurance producer license (or eligibility to obtain) for commercial lines in Colorado. Proficiency with office software and agency management tools to track client information and policy activity.
